Okay, so most of you will probably have read Jamie's and Martin's blogs on Myspace, and pretty much have the lowdown on most of it, they've told you all of the cool stuff already. There's not a huge amount to add, except they don't mention the traditional "people getting ill" that happens when us lot meet up with TLD. At least two people get at least a bit ill everytime!
We didn't do too badly this time, but this time I came prepared and took a first aid kit and half the "colds and flu" aisle from Boots with me! Thankfully I only had to hand out plasters and paracetomol from the first aid kit but you would not believe how many Strepsils, Lockets and Lemsip powders this lot can get through! Sometimes I'm so practical and boring I scare myself.
I had a great time being a "Merch bird" (it's what it says on my pass thing) selling things to people ("Hi, what can we sell you?") and gophering, carrying stuff, lending various things from my make up / washbag etc! The only down point was that it was so fecking cold! Five hours sitting down in a cramped van in sub-zero temperatures is not an experience I'm that keen to repeat!
Apart from that, and apart from the obvious TLD songs, I'd like to add that my personal soundtrack to the week included "Te Quiero Puta" from the new Rammstein album, courtesy of Pete being a native spanish speaker and translating, and The Poo and Wee song but that one's my fault.
It's been cool travelling around with them, and great having Pete and Shawn staying over. Monty cat was very taken with them, is missing them already and is sleeping on the sock that Shawn managed to leave behind.
Anyway, 'tis late and I have work in the morning.
