toothache rant
Nov. 5th, 2004 11:23 pmI have toothache.
My face hurts and I'm feeling ranty.
After an emergency dental appointment yesterday I now have some more metronidazole (urk!) which will fix my toothache (at least short term) but means I can't drink at all at Pynchbecks birthday on Saturday. It *does not* go well with alcohol, I can do without vomiting copiously.
It also looks like I have to have the tooth out eventually. Another one. I lost the one next to it a couple months ago, legacy of shit dental work by my previous dentist. Probably why this one's so fucked too. Thankfully it's at the back and won't notice, else I'd look like some ancient old crone (or disgusting old Essex Cow round here!)
Arsebiscuits.
On a slightly better note, the metronidazole works really fast and tonight I won't be woken up every two hours by the pain to take more painkillers. Yesterday I was alternating co-codamol and neurofen every two hours, it was excrutiating.
Still, looking forward to Pynchbecks birthday tomorrow. The question is, how do you dress for a blind persons 40th birthday party? The answer is, even if everyone there is blind (which they aren't, only about a third are) I'd still tart up just as much as I can! Just wish I could drink alcohol.
