Okay, I have a question that I can't seem to find the answer to. On a bustled skirt, with draping etc., where the hell is the zip, buttons or whatever placed?

Any suggestions?

put the zip on the side or on middle back of the underskirt and pin the bustle with buttons over the top of it.

ie have the bustle as a separate overskirt?

Pretty much what I thought, but where does the over skirt do up?

on the sides... or with a front ribbon kind of like a backwards apron?

or hooks and eyes on the side/back onto the underskirt?
