Yesterday was good and so is today

marylittlegothOkay so yesterday was good. We went to London, Camden and Dead and Buried and had a really good time.
It snowed like a bastard first thing and was all pretty, which also meant I got to wear my Grenadier Guards jacket to go to London.
We went to Camden and spent money and I now have a Deadlygirlz corset (mmm yummy), two new skirts (one straight PVC, one heavy cotton drill, a-line with straps, both floor length) and a new sheer top with ruched off the shoulder neckline and cuffs.
Very nice.
Jamie shopped too and has a nice red and black stripy top with straps and buckles, a rather good shirt with straps and a pair of trousers with straps. There seems to be a theme growing here! Still I can categorically state that there is no rubber tubing or UV on any of our clothes!
We went to the Dev which was quiet and met some random people, including Faith who we'd been introduced to at Whitby by Carl Jussard, though she was much soberer this time and wearing a rather nice pvc kimono effort, and Mike and got talking with some hyper hyper cyber bloke who spent the whole time going on about how he had an IQ of 176 which meant he was perpetually bored, and talking 10 to the dozen about various random topics, I'd have guessed it was amphetamines if it hadn't been so early in the day!
Then we went to Dead and Buried (wearing new clothes!), met up with Craig and Issy, Martin Oldgoth & Brigitte, and then bumped into most of the Lemoras, Tim and Michelle (who was poorly), Mike again (who was pissed by then - apparently celebrating the end of a stupidly busy week) and various other people. I drooled (metaphorically) over other peoples clothes and hairstyles, danced a bit, drank guinness and mineral water alternately, had a good time and the world was a good and happy place.
Today has been quite good too, we bought lots of yummy food in tescos and Jamie is going to cook it. He's a much better cook than me, so we are having fajitas one meal, thai another and roast beef another. Not sure in what order! Probably roast beef for dinner tomorrow.
I've finished my spider web petticoat too.
I'm really feeling quite good.
