And I do. I have a big black and white skirt to make to go over my hoop. Currently the only thing I have to go over my hoop is a green satin skirt, part of a tudor outfit I made, and not exactly suitable for normal wear.
I love my hoop skirt. It's made of peppermint green and white striped cotton (recycled king sized quilt cover), with a 2.5m circumference steel hoop (which is surprisingly flexible).
Hand sewing on lace is so time consuming, but it looks so much better than machine sewing, you never get it quite straight on a machine.
My nose hurts. I have a temperature.
On a good note though, Giff has loaned us "An Evening with Kevin Smith".
